The Tohoku Journal of Experimental Medicine was founded in
1920. The TJEM is one of the oldest and the most prestigious periodicals
in Japan and the world.
The TJEM is open to original articles in all branches of medical
sciences from authors throughout the world.
The TJEM is published monthly; three volumes containing four numbers
each are issued a year. Each volume consists of approximately 320 pages.
